The CTET December 2024 Exam is administered twice a year by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to assess applicants’ suitability for teaching positions in Central Government Schools, including KVS, NVS, and others. The application process is now complete for the CTET 2024 Notification, which was made available at www.ctet.nic.in. On December 14 and 15, 2024, the CTET December Exam 2024 was administered to applicants who had successfully registered. Candidates must be eligible to take the CTET Exam if they want to pursue jobs teaching primary and higher primary grades in government and government-aided schools. Candidates can apply for openings at a variety of government and government-aided schools based on their CTET exam results.

CTET December 2024 Eligibility Criteria
When choosing applicants for the teaching positions in Classes 1–5 and Classes 6–8, the eligibility requirements differ. Let’s examine the educational background that applicants must possess for these two sections:
Eligibility For CTET Primary Level ( Class I to V)
- Condidate must Completed their + 2 (Senior Secondary ) with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent Exam and Completed or appeared in the final Year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education OR
- According to the NCTE Regulations of 2002, a candidate is considered to have passed the final year exam of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education and earned at least 45% of the possible points in Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam. OR
- A candidate who has passed or participated in the final year exam of the four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program and who has earned at least 50% of the possible marks in Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam. OR
- A candidate who passed the final year exam of the two-year Diploma in Education program and earned at least 50% of the possible points in Senior Secondary or its equivalent. OR
- a candidate with a bachelor’s degree who has passed or participated in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education exam.
Eligibility For CTET Junior Level ( Class VI to VIII)
- Candidates complete Graduation and Complete or appearing in 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Candidates complete either Graduation with At least 50% Marks or Post-Graduation and passed or Appearing in Bachelor in Education
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
- Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.
- Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and passed or appearing in of three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
